Jimmy Carter: We didn’t vote for Hillary! Russians Didn’t Alter Election. Obama Didn’t Deliver.

By  |

Well here goes 93 years old Jimmy carter cutting loose!

But age doesn’t matter. He’s ready to go over to North Korea as an envoy.

The former president — one of the worst presidents in U.S. history according to some — talked with the New York Times.

Here’s the gist of the interview:

1. It’s Not the Russians who stole the election

To the question: “Did the Russians purloin the election from Hillary?”

He replied: “I don’t think there’s any evidence that what the Russians did changed enough votes — or any votes,”.

2. We did not vote for Hillary

To which is wife, Roselyn voiced: ‘They obviously did'”

Carter then replied:

.“Rosie and I have a difference of opinion on that,”

She then said, “The drip-drip-drip about Hillary.”

That’s when Carter volunteered that “We voted for Sanders.” during the primary.

3. Obama fell short of his promises.

“He made some very wonderful statements, in my opinion, when he first got in office, and then he reneged on that,” talking about Obama’s action on the Middle East.

He cruised into office on pledges of delivering “hope and change”. He didn’t. He made it worse.

4. The Media is “harder on Trump than any president.”

Carter said”I think the media have been harder on Trump than any other president certainly that I’ve known about,” . “I think they feel free to claim that Trump is mentally deranged and everything else without hesitation.”
93% of new coverage about President Trump is negative according to a recent Harvard study. The REAL shocker? Carter defending Trump.
5. “I would rather see all the players stand during the American anthem.”

Carter, along with four living ex-presidents put his hand on his heart when the national anthem played —at a hurricane fundraiser. He has a strong opinion about what NFL players should do.

“I think they ought to find a different way to object, to demonstrate,” he said. ” I would rather see all the players stand during the American anthem.”
